I have been involved with photography over fifty years now, and really got back into it again when I retired some eighteen years ago…

I use a Canon XTi DIgital SLR….I have 5 lens… (1) a standard EFS 18-55mm..(2) a Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS..(3)..a Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS..(4)..a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC Wide Angle Lens, and a (5) Sigma 150mm 1:2.8 APO MACRO Lens…I also have a Panasonic DMC-TZ2 point and shoot camera.

One of the first things I learnt in photography, as a young gaffer was not just to take a picture, but to make a picture…and I continually strive to do just that…

As a photographer I capture many different subjects, but I have a real passion for sunsets, and sunrises. Here on the Prairies, we can have some real beauties. I also love all aspects of nature, and am very active as a Volunteer at our local Nature Center, FortWhyte Alive. I love to capture birds and wildlife when ever the ocassion presents itself.

I was born and raised on The Prairies here in Manitoba, and presently make my home here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
